Good mornings friends. How are you today ? I hope you guys good news, yes because if you are not well who will read my story again. This time I'll tell you my favorite place and have traveled to go. That place is the lake Sentarum. Sentarum lake is a very beautiful place located in the district of Kapuas hulu. And I'll tell you a brief history and along with the contents of the lake Sentarum itself.
The lake formed during the Ice Age or the Pleistocene period has a wealth of flora and fauna are outstanding and not owned by other regions in Indonesia. And I'll tell you the contents of Sentarum National Park. Tumbuhannya there are 510 species and 33 species which are endemic TNDS, including 10 species, including a new species.
Mammals in TNDS No 141 species. Sekiktar 29 species including endemic species of mammals and 64 percent of the endemic Borneo. There are 266 species of fish, about 78 percent are freshwater fish endemic to Borneo. Lakes National Park neighborhood Sentarum listed as one of the most complete habitat for freshwater fish in the world.
In addition there are 31 species of reptiles. 8 types among them are protected species such as the estuarine crocodile (Crocodylus porusus), crocodile senyulung (Tomistoma schlegeili), labi-labi, snakes, lizards, and others. Even a frog or alligator rabin crocodile (Crocodylus raninus) is Asia 'has been declared extinct are still found in the region.
Lake Sentarum also provide natural beauty untold until nicknamed as the last paradise. And this is what makes me felt after just one visit Lake Sentarum want to revisit.
